Kate Graham, founder and President of Caledonian Travel, was born and raised in Stirling, the first borough in Scotland and the home of Sir William Wallace who came to be known as Braveheart. Kate grew up in the shadow of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument and was surrounded by the beautiful Ochil Hills, with the highlands of Scotland not too far to the north.

In 1969 Kate and her husband, Richard, moved to Savannah, Georgia and began their lives as "Americans" -- learning all about Barbecue, Hamburgers and Sweet Tea! They became US citizens in 1976. They quickly began to make friends in the Scottish/American Community, taking up Scottish country dancing and becoming involved with the Clan Graham Society. They travel throughout the United States attending many of the Scottish Highland Games. Kate and her husband have three daughters who all competed in highland dancing when they were young. Kate loves to encourage others to get involved in their Scottish heritage. Kate's husband, Richard, is President of the Clan Graham Society and was appointed Chieftain of the Clan by His Grace the Duke of Montrose, Chief of the Clan Graham.

When Kate entered the travel industry in 1986 she was automatically drawn towards conducting tours of Scotland. She takes great pride in showing others her beautiful homeland and also feels that by doing this she is able to contribute to the country of her birth which she still dearly loves. Kate has organized over 30 tours since 1986 and works with many dozens of individual travellers.

Kate is a Fellow of the Antiquaries of Scotland, a Dame of the Knights Templars of Jerusalem and is past President of the St. Andrew's Society of Atlanta. Kate is also a Specialist Counselor on Travel to Scotland.
